Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. Who can referAnyone may participate. No sign-up or enrollment required. SiteMarker employees and contractors are not eligible for referral rewards.
2. What counts as a qualified referralA referral qualifies when (a) the referred firm was not already an active deal in SiteMarker's pipeline or an existing customer at the time of referral, (b) the referral is attributable to you: the firm mentions your name, you made the introduction, or you submitted them through the referral form, and (c) your introduction is a warm one: the firm knows to expect us, or reaches out to us themselves and mentions you. Submitting a firm's name without making the connection is a lead we appreciate, but not by itself a qualified referral.
3. In-app sharing isn't a referralSiteMarker lets you share reports and collaborate with people outside your company. That's what the product is for. Sharing a report or inviting a collaborator does not by itself constitute a referral. If someone you've shared with would be a fit, make the introduction like any other referral.
4. New firms onlyRewards apply to firms that are new to SiteMarker. New offices, departments, or divisions of an existing customer don't qualify (though we always appreciate the introduction).
5. Referral validityA referral remains eligible for 6 months from submission. If the referred firm becomes an annual customer after that window, no reward is due, but you're welcome to re-refer them.
6. When rewards are earnedRewards are earned only when the referred firm signs an annual SiteMarker subscription and pays its first invoice. Pilots, trials, and month-to-month arrangements do not trigger a reward.
7. What you receive$1,000 per qualified referral, paid within 30 days of the referred firm's first annual invoice payment. Choose cash (check/ACH), Visa gift card, or credit toward your own SiteMarker subscription. No limit on the number of qualified referrals.
8. What the referred firm receives$1,000 in credit applied toward their first annual SiteMarker subscription. Credit has no cash value and cannot be combined with other referral credits or discounts.
9. One reward per firmIf multiple people refer the same firm, the first attributable qualified referral receives credit.
10. Your referral's infoBy submitting someone's contact information, you confirm you know them and are comfortable with us reaching out and mentioning you (unless you ask us not to).
11. Self-referrals and purchasing influenceYou may not refer your own employer, or any organization where you influence or participate in the purchasing decision. If you're unsure, ask us first.
12. Government and public agency employeesWe cannot provide personal rewards connected to a public agency's purchase. Public-sector introductions are welcome, but no individual reward will be paid where prohibited by applicable ethics or procurement rules.
13. Good faithReferrals must be genuine business introductions. Bulk submissions of contacts without a real relationship, self-dealing, or gaming of the program may be disqualified at SiteMarker's discretion.
14. TaxesRewards may be taxable income; recipients are responsible for any tax obligations. Rewards of $600+ in a calendar year may require a W-9 and will be reported as required by law.
15. Our callEligibility and reward decisions are made by SiteMarker and are final.
16. Program changesSiteMarker may modify or end the program at any time. Referrals submitted before a change are honored under the terms in effect at submission.
